Charita Graham, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor, Educator, and mother earned her Master of Arts degree in Counseling Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology (Argosy University).

Charita has more than 30 years of clinical experience in Behavioral Healthcare.  Her tenure includes extensive work as a visionary Director at a community mental health center, a counselor in a hospital psychiatric ward, and as Clinical Supervisor for credentialed staff and graduate students majoring in counseling at major universities including DePaul University, Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and IIT. She demonstrates expertise in working with individuals with chronic mental illness, cognitive delays and people experiencing challenges with everyday life.

Charita uses an eclectic approach to treatment focusing on the individual needs of each person. “I believe that each person’s path to wholeness, individuation, internal joy, and peace is different. Therapy can help you to discover your path to wholeness. You can begin to make healthy decisions, improve relationships, focus on self - care, pursue your life passions and live a healthy fulfilled life. I’ll walk with you on your journey to personal enlightenment, wellness, and good mental health.”

My specialties include working with individuals living with Intellectual Disabilities, Schizophrenia, Major Depression, Bi-Polar Disorder, Anxiety Disorder, Complex Trauma, Attention Deficit Disorder and Disorders on the Autism Spectrum, I also work effectively with families and couples.
