Do you have a child or teenager who is struggling with self-esteem, anxiety, peer relationships, and/or depression? Though we long for real support, the world instead often tells us to “suck it up,” or “get over it.” With the recent pandemic, fear, anxiety (social and/or school), depression, etc. have overpowered many of our children and teens. They may feel they are the only ones experiencing these struggles, but they are not alone.

I am here to assist you with those difficulties your child may be encountering through a kind, compassionate, non-judgmental approach. Regardless of the problems they are experiencing, my goal is to provide support, understand the motivations, work with them to set goals for their future, and develop tools to reach them.
My specialty is pre-teens and teens, special needs included. In addition to my clinical work here, I am a full time middle school counselor and am familiar with the ins and outs of the school process. I could assist you in getting the help your child may need at school as well. My experience allows me to help in many areas including anxiety, stress management, grieving/loss, behavioral concerns, school motivation, depression, ADHD, self-injury, and LGBTQ+. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with a master’s degree in community and school counseling as well as a master’s degree in special education. Please contact me for availability.
