Marla is a graduate student who is pursuing her master’s degree in marriage and family counseling from Governor’s State University. She earned her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Indiana State University and it was during that time that she realized she wanted to become a counselor and help others see the light at the end of the tunnel. She is bilingual and provides therapy in both English and Spanish. She has experience working with adults, teenagers and children. She has worked with issues in grief and loss, self-esteem, anxiety, and depression.
As a therapist, my goal is to best provide you with the support and tools to help meet you where you are, focus on your growth, and ensure that you are happy with that version of yourself. The thought of therapy can be scary for some, and my job is to make you feel safe and understood.
