Our Mission Statement

The mission of The Center for Self-Actualization, established

in 2009 in Chicago’s southwest suburb of Evergreen Park,

is three-fold.

First, we aspire to offer individualized counseling and yoga services toward the cognitive, emotional, and behavioral wellness of clients of all ages and abilities, regardless of their financial situation. We recognize and are encouraging of differing cultural values and seek to collaboratively establish and achieve the unique goals of every client we serve.

Second, we respect the professional and personal growth of each of our staff members and support them in their own journey toward self-actualization. We hold a client-first orientation while maintaining ethical boundaries to maximize the safety of and respect for our staff. We nurture a non-competitive environment where clinicians support each other via supervision, collaboration, and encouraged self-care.

Third, we strive to maintain the financial health of The Center for Self-Actualization while it simultaneously serves insurance, self-pay, sliding scale, and pro-bono clients.
