Kids Yoga
NEW 8 Week Fall Session!! Drop In's Welcome
Teacher: Deanna Spear

Our kids yoga program is geared towards the physical and emotional well being of children. We offer classes for age groups 2-4, 5-8, 9-12 and teens. Each age group will work on developing skills specific to their needs while creating a welcoming and safe space. Children who participate will learn to bond with their peers, build strength, boost confidence, fine tune social skills, regulate of emotions, reduce stress and anxiety. This program is taught by Deanna Spear, a yoga instructor with specialized training in kids yoga. It is Deanna's mission "to educate, create hope and empower children while guiding them into their own greatness!"

Restorative Yoga with Sound Bath
Sunday, Septmeber 24th
Time: 6:15pm - 7:15pm
Teacher: Gail Morales
A gentle practice incorporating the use of props (bolsters, blankets, and blocks) which allow the body to feel supported and relaxed. Restorative yoga helps reduce stress by calming the nervous system and relieves tension in the body. All postures are done on the floor and are held for longer durations with an emphasis on support and comfort. Relaxing breath techniques are added for total relaxation. Alchemy crystal bowls, chimes and Tibetan bowls may be played as you relax, rejuvenate and unwind. Beginner friendly.
Restorative Yoga and Reiki Healing

Restorative Yoga with optional Reiki Healing. A gentle practice incorporating the use of props (bolsters, blankets, and blocks) which allow the body to feel supported and relaxed. Restorative yoga helps reduce stress by calming the nervous system, and relieves tension in the body. Reiki is a Japanese form of energy medicine that aids in stress reduction and relaxation. It is a healing practice that can help restore balance and harmony to our physical, emotional, and mental selves. It is administered by “laying on hands” and is based on the idea that an unseen “life force energy” flows through us and is what causes us to be alive. Most people feel a sense of relaxation, peace, calmness, and well-being. Beginner friendly.
Yoga for Cancer
Saturday, October 7th

Teacher: Joanne Carmody
Join Joanne Carmody, a trained RYT 500 hr yoga instructor, with a specialization in Yoga for Cancer. This 75 min gentle yoga class is catered for cancer patients, survivors and/ or caregivers. This very gentle and therapeutic practice will focus on mindful breathwork, slow and gentle movement and meditation. Joanne will offer thoughtful poses with variations, including props such as: chair, wall, blocks, blanket and/or a bolster. Joanne hopes to create an ongoing Yoga Cancer community that is supportive, full of sharing and hope.
Sip and Stretch Yoga
Friday, October 20th
Time: 7:30pm - 9:00pm
Teacher: Beth Carpenter
Join Beth Carpenter, a trained RYT 200 hr yoga instructor for this gentle 45 minute yoga practice all while sipping on your favorite beverage. Drinks will be provided and will include beer, wine, tea and water. Feel free to stay after and enjoy another drink and some yummy snacks.
